Latin with the Blues

I doubt that anyone who typically reads this blog will bother to read a 3 page interview w/ Hernan Crespo so I wasn't going to post it. I however found it to be very interesting. I am a huge Crespo fan. I guess it must be related to my obsession with Argentine strikers which started w/ Batistuta. For me Crespo has replaced Batistuta. He is simply an amazing goal scorer w/ cool hair. The interview isn't so much about soccer, but more about the life of a professional athlete outside his own country. I guess it isn't as easy as one might think. I have always been very critical of Landon Donovan for not sticking it out in Europe. I guess it isn't exactly the easiest thing to do. Especially if the situation isn't right. Maybe Lannycakes should get some slack...but only a little. I really think it would benefit him and the USMNT for him to find the right situation and go back to Europe to play.
